A loan of $700 helped to buy school supplies.

Mabel Del Rocio's story

Mabel, 25, is single and lives with her mother and sister in the Toribia Castro Chirinos Human Settlement; a marginal urban zone of the city of Lambayeque, which is 20 minutes from the city of Chiclayo. Mabel has a photocopy service in her home. The idea for her business arose when she realized that there were no photocopiers available in her area and students had to go all the way downtown if they needed to make copies, often putting their personal safety at risk to do so. Mabel wants to enlarge her operation by offering school supplies for sale because the new school term is about to start nationwide. This is why she is calling upon Edpyme Alternativa to request her first, 2000 new sol, loan that will help her reach this goal. She is a very hard-working woman who is quite dedicated to her family. Her neighbors and acquaintances hold her in high regard and consider her to be an honest person who is always helping others when needed.
