A loan helped to change the old windows.

Pașa's story

Pașa is 40 years old, is married a second time and has three children from the first marriage. The children are already older and two of them are married. Pașa's first husband was an alcoholic and beat her, not caring for the children. They were often starving and were afraid to return home so as not to be beaten. For five years Pașa has lived with another man, whose wife died many years ago. She and her son live in his house and they understand each other very well.

Her current husband takes care so that the family does not lack anything. He works as a driver, and she works as an educator at the kindergarten in the village. They have modest incomes. The house they live in has old, rotten windows and the heating does not stay in the house, that’s why Pașa decided to make an appeal for a Kiva loan.

Changing the windows will make it possible to keep the heat in the house and save money on wood and coal in the cold season of the year.

This loan is special because:

It helps families improve their living conditions and reduce energy consumption.
