Ngen S., age 39, is widowed and resides with her children in Kompong Chnang Province, Cambodia. She has a 15-year-old child. She is ina business of selling Cambodian traditional cakes and rents part of her land to a mobile company to install satellite, earning an income of $5 per day. By doing so, she is able to cover her family expenses, especially her child’s education. She has been with this job since 2005. S. is requesting a loan of $700 to purchase a plot of farmland to expand the agricultural products. This is her third loan from CREDIT, partnered Kiva.
