A loan helped a member to buy simsim seeds.

Pe Nongi Abedo Farmers Group's story

Paska is a female Ugandan age 48 years old. Together with her husband, they have three children and they all attend school. The two have been growing beans and also rearing goats and cows for additional income.

She is requesting a loan to buy simsim (sesame) seeds. Paska wants to join the simsim market association which is yielding lots of income in her area. With quality seeds, she believes she will have a great harvest which she will later sell and use the income to make sure her children acquire a quality education.

Paska is challenged with climate changes, which have also caused unpredictable changes in the farming seasons. Hardworking and honest as she describes herself, Paska dreams of becoming a prominent simsim farmer and commercial supplier.

She is grateful to Kiva for the financial support.
