A loan of $2,200 helped a member to purchase charcoal and wood.

Respe De Romeo Group's story

The Respe de Romeo Group is excited about receiving their firS.loan from Esperanza. The group has a variety of businesses from selling gas to selling food on the Haitian-Dominican border. Ghuslene L. is the representative of the group. She is a 33-year-old wife and mother of three children. Ghuslene is a long-term charcoal maker and seller. Her intereS.in joining Esperanza came from hearing about associates in neighboring towns grateful for the opportunity and increased benefits of having a loan. She says, “There were people who wanted to do business, but needed a little bit of help…Esperanza is helping.” She dreams of being able to grow her business and send her kids to school with greater ease. On behalf of Ghuslene, the Respe de Romeo Group and Esperanza, we thank you for your support.
