Srun S., 51, is married and lives with her children in Takeo Province, Cambodia. She has five children.
She produces Cambodian traditional baskets and earns approximately US$11 gross per day. By doing this she is able to cover her family's expenses, particularly her children’s education. She has been with this business since 2000. Her husband grows mushrooms for sale, earning an income of US$7 per day. Their standard of living has improved since S. has been running her business.
S. is requesting a loan of US$1,000 to expand her husband’s mushroom growing business. This is her first loan from CREDIT, partnered with Kiva.
