A loan helped to buy spare parts and make a down payment on a truck.

Jacqueline Alexandra's story

Alexandra is 25 years old, happy, responsible, charismatic and extroverted. She lives with her parents in the outskirts of Tulcán. She just had a baby, who is 2 months old and the main reason why she would like to get ahead in life.

Both her and her partner have been driving trucks for a trucking company, for the past year, and now have the opportunity to become co-owners, by buying their own truck.

They ask for a loan to help with the down payment as well as to buy spare parts needed for repairs. With their work, little by little their dream of having their own place and a better quality of life will come true.

Translated from Spanish by Kiva volunteer CRISTINA DE SOUSA.
