A loan helped to buy more stocks of frozen foods to sell.

Aileen's story

Aileen is a hard-working mother of three children. Her family resides at Mabalacat, Pampanga. To help her husband, Amado, who earns a living as a jeepney driver, Aileen decided to engage herself in selling frozen foods in their village. Through the business and through the earnings of her husband, they are able to generate 15,000 PHP a month.

According to Aileen, sustaining her frozen-foods selling is very beneficial to her family. That is why she availed herself of a 12,000 PHP loan from ASKI. She will use the loan to buy more stocks of frozen foods such as longganisa [a Filipino sausage], hot dogs, tocino [sweetened cured pork] and burger patties. She is very optimistic that these additional stocks will increase her income.
