A loan of $825 helped buy shower curtains, trash cans, colanders, water containers, sheets and more plastic products.

Monserrate Amalia's story

Monserrate is one of the active members of the Damas Emprendedoras de Pachinche Communal Bank. It is located in the capital, Manabita. This city enjoys a warm climate, which is perfect for growing tropical fruits. She sells plastic home accessories, sheets, and other necessary products for the home. She sells door to door and travels the streets of her community. She gives credit for up to ten weeks.

With this new loan Monserrate will be able to invest in more products like shower curtains, trash cans, colanders, water containers, and sheets, etc. to fill some orders that she needs to deliver. The earnings are not much, but it helps her get ahead because she buys some products at a good price.

In the future she would like to have a restaurant. She likes to cook and prepare delicious dishes. It is one of her dreams, and she hopes it will not be long before she can make her dream come true. Little by little she is gathering her money to do this.
