A loan helped a member to buy 27 bags of charcoal including transportation costs.

Fikiri Group's story

Mrs Claudine, age 40, is president of Fikiri Group. She sells charcoal at the local central market. She's been a client of the MFI Hekima for the past six years. She's married and the mother of six children who all go to school.

She started her business when she was still young, using funds provided by her husband, who is also a merchant. Hekima followed later on.

She will use this loan to buy 27 bags of charcoal and pay transportation costs, in order to strengthen her business. Her main worry is to be able to feed her children correctly and send them to school. She also wants to open a large warehouse in order to serve more customers.

She thanks Hekima and its partners for supporting people with low income.
