Sovetkan's story

Sovetkan is 59 and married with grown children. She has a specialist high school education and is a hardworking, purposeful and entrepreneurial person. She has a good understanding of the technical aspects of running an agricultural business and knows how to manage a budget. She has been working in animal husbandry since 1981 as the primary source of income for her family. Thanks to her hard work and responsible approach to her tasks, she has been able to develop her farm to having a cow, 20 sheep and two horses as well as 1.92 hectares of irrigated land where she grows beans.

With the goal of further developing her farm, Sovetkan has approached Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 150,000 KGS to buy dairy cows to increase her sales of organic milk and her income from raising livestock. She plans to put income from the loan into further developing her farm by increasing her head count of livestock.
