A loan helped a member to buy rice, pasta, and oil in bulk.

Wiñay Marca Group's story

The communal bank “Wiñay Marca”, which is part of the Copacabana office, is comprised of eight members and run by a board of directors, of which Juana is the president.

Juana, age 38, is in a common law relationship and has four children. She has a business selling groceries. With the loan, she will buy rice, pasta, and oil in bulk from the wholesale vendors in the city of La Paz. Then, she will sell the items in her sales space. This method of working permits her to generate income to support her family.

Her goal is to expand her business. Juana asks that you trust again in her communal bank.
