A loan helped increase his working capital so that he can purchase raw mater.

Ismael's story

Ismael is a 49-year-old resident of Barranquilla. He lives there with his two children and his spouse. He owns a bakery that he opened six years ago. After having worked as a baker for many years, he decided to use the skills that he learned as an employee and start his own bakery. His main clientele include his neighbors, friends, and others who live in the area; all of his sales are in cash.

He is seeking his first Kiva loan with the Fundación Mario Santo Domingo in order to increase his working capital so that he can purchase ingredients, such as flour, salt, yeast, cheese, margarine, and more. This will allow him to increase his sales and his profitability. Support him with this business loan.
