Nurzhamal's story

Nurzhamal is 38 years old and married with 3 children. She has a higher education and works as a teacher at a local school. Nurzhamal is a hardworking, driven and entrepreneurial person. She has a strong understanding of agricultural technology and she knows how to invest funds effectively. Nurzhamal has been raising livestock since 2007, and this is her family's primary source of income. Thanks to her hard work and responsible approach to business, she now has 4 cows, 4 horses and a 1.44-hectare plot of land where she grows beans to sell and potatoes for her family to eat.

To further develop her business, Nurzhamal has approached Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 50,000 som. She will use the money to buy a dairy cow in order to increase her organic milk sales and her profit from raising livestock. Nurzhamal plans to invest the profit from the loan in further developing her business by increasing her number of livestock and completing an extension to her home.
