A loan of $500 helped buy clothes, watches, and hair accessories.

Adrián Natividad's story

Adrián Natividad B., age 37, lives in the department of San Miguel. He lives with his wife, who dedicates herself to the household chores, and their four children. The children go to the school in the area where they live.

Adrián is a very responsible man who goes to work Monday through Sunday for his family’s well-being. He sells watches, batteries, and replacement parts for watches. At the same time he sells hair accessories, creams, powder, and clothes. He sells all of this in his house with his wife’s help. He works all day offering his products as a traveling salesman in the streets and cantons of San Miguel. This allows him to get greater earnings. This income is very important to him because it is the only source of income that he has.

Adrián is requesting a loan to be able to increase the quantity of products he has. This way he will be able to offer his customers greater variety. Each day Adrián needs to put forth his maximum effort because he needs to use most of his daily earnings for the household expenses. Little is left to invest in the business.
