A loan helped a member to grow fruit and vegetables to sell, and provide for his family.

Yeredeme Group's story

Boh, pictured here with his arm raised, is a 42-year-old father to four children: two boys and two girls. Three of them attend school, while one is still not at school age. Boh is a market gardener, growing fruit and vegetables (including tomatoes, aubergines, cucumbers, etc.) for several months of the year and selling them at the largest local market at reasonable prices.

Thanks to the RMCR loan he has been able to expand the scope of his market gardening venture each year and pay for his children's school fees. Boh is very happy about the link between RMCR and KIVA and hopes that it will continue into the future.
