Mrs. Ourng S., a 29-year-old widow with one school-aged child, lives in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. She runs a small beauty salon selling different kinds of beauty products to the people in her community. With this business activity, Ourng S. can typically generate up to $10 each day in revenue. In order to generate an additional profit, Mrs. Ourng S. hopes to use the loan to decorate her shop . Another part of the money is to be shared with her relatives to open another shop selling cooked meat and a variety of drinks on the roadside of their community, where a number of travelers pass by.
