Maritza Janeth's story

Maritza Janeth C. G. is 35 years old. She lives in the department of San Salvador, the country's capital. She lives with her husband, a merchant, and her two children who are 16 and 8 years old. They are in school. Maritza sells cosmetics which are shown through a catalog. She also sells men's, women's and children's clothes as a street vendor, going from house to house and among her neighbors. She is a very hardworking and responsible woman who when she saw the need in her home, decided to start her own business to help her husband with the household expenses. Maritza is asking for a loan with which she can buy a larger quantity of cosmetics, hair and body creams and a wider variety of clothes in different sizes, styles and colors. In this way she will satisfy a greater variety of tastes of the people who buy her products. This will allow her to increase her sales and improve the economic stability of her home.
