David M. is an individual client of Pearl Microfinance in Kyenjojo. He is a friendly and hard working man with a business of selling seedlings from a nursery bed for two years, as seen in the photo holding one of his plants.

Since Kyenjojo is a fertile area for farming, many people have resorted to planting trees and other crops inclusive of flower seedlings and it works well for David. He is able to make enough profits that keep him in business as well as help him take good care of his family.

David has worked from Ntonwa trading centre for two years and his biggest challenge is the lack of transport to collect the seeds for his bed. In the future, he would like to turn his bed into a leading nursery bed and seedling supplier as well as to have a well-established family.

David needs a loan to be able to expand his nursery bed by increasing the stock of seedlings. David is a father of six children and all are still in primary section.
