Kelly Azucena's story

Kelly is 34 years old, and she lives in the Del Provenir District, Trujillo Province, Department of La Libertad – Perú. She belongs to the Mujeres Decididas ("Determined Women") Communal Bank. The member finished 11th grade. She is married and has two children who are economically dependent on her. She works selling clothing that she brings from the city of Lima. With her first loan of 300 soles she began to travel to Lima to bring back the clothes that her friends, relatives and neighbors asked her for.

Now she will use her next loan of 1,200 soles to travel to Lima and fill the outstanding orders she has for clothes like: polo shirts, shirts, blouses, skirts, dresses, etc. She is currently collecting her final payments in order to raise more money, and she has planned to travel to Lima within 2 weeks to make the purchases for her orders.
