Paul's story

Paul, a coffee farmer aged 51, is requesting a loan to pay casual laborers for clearing and harvesting his coffee to sell. He is a married man with seven children and four are students living in Kagadi, Uganda.

Throughout his lifespan, Paul and his wife have been earning a livelihood from agriculture. He has bought and sold produce alongside farming for over 15 years with the aim of generating income to meet family needs as well as educating their children. He trades in seasonal crops like maize, beans, groundnuts, and coffee. He works hard and has a hope that all their children will go through school to be able to read and write.
