A loan of $700 helped to buy a dumptruck for transporting merchandise.

Edgar's story

Our group member, Edgar, belongs to the 'Nueva Vision de Urubamba' (New Vision of Urubamba) Community Bank. He lives in the heart of the holy Incan valley. Urubamba is 1 hour and 10 minutes from the city of Cuzco.

He is 34 years old and lives with Mrs. Francisca. Together they have two children who are 5 and 1. He is an agricultural technician and studied three years at a technical school in Arariwa. He and his wife run a farm veterinary business, and he also works selling seedlings, seeds, and fertilizers to the town of Urubamba. He rents a dump truck to transport these goods and is asking for a loan to buy a dump truck to deliver his items. After delivering all the merchandise he will be able to repay the loan.

He is thankful for the opportunity provided to him and promises to be responsible and make the payments on time.
