Madam Esther is a client of Hekima and is the representative of the Premice group. She is 47 years old and a widow with three children.
Madam Esther sells a variety of household products, using the funds from her old printing business, which shut down in 2002. Later she partnered with Hekima. With this loan, she plans to purchase several products in bulk in order to increase her business, such as Omo (a brand of laundry detergent), flour, and rice. At the moment her business is suffering from a lack of clients.
Madam Esther hopes to continue to pay for her children's school fees and to one day expand her store. Lastly, she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for the support they give to non-bankable small business owners.
