Kd_Doubirou Group's story

This group made up of dynamic and supportive women was created in August 2009. They live in the same community and all work in small business.

Coumba (standing on the far right in the photo with her hand raised) is the group representative. She is 37 years old, married and the mother of five children. Three of them are girls. She is a courageous woman.

She has a small business in the village. With her new loan she will buy bags of sugar and cartons of tea which she will sell retail in the village.

With her earnings she plans to add to her savings.
