To be able to afford to buy a car and to purchase material for the embroidery business she is planning to start, Rawda applied for a loan from FATEN. As she comes from a conservative background, her husband Muhammad appears in the photo instead.
Rawda lives in Al-Jdaydeh, a village in Jineen district which is located on a 300-meter high mountain. Therefore her husband thought of purchasing a car. Rawda says that having a car will help the family travel easier and be able to distribute the embroideries she will start producing.
This embroidery project, Rawda believes, will help her husband afford the family's expenses as they have two daughters and two sons.
