Fatima's story

Fatima is 33 years old and married with 4 children. She lives with her family in Dili, the capital city of East-Timor.

For 2 years, she has been earning a living by making and selling bread. She has the business set up in her house. She previously acquired a loan of $300 and has finished repaying it with a good habit of being on time.

Now, she wants to increase the size of her business. She has decided to request another loan from Kiva field partner, KIF, in the amount of $800 to purchase flour, cream, sugar, milk, butter, eggs, salt, margarine, and other ingredients to make more bread.

With the loan, she hopes to have a larger inventory to make bread and offer a variety of products to her customers.

Her goals are to grow her business, satisfy her customers, and give her family a better quality of life.
