A loan of $875 helped purchase tables & a Nintendo system.

Jacqueline Del Carmen's story

Sra. Jacqueline is 39 years old and a single mother of three children who are in school. She is an enterprising woman who has excelled in supporting her children despite having to raise them alone. Jacqueline has worked at a business called “Llantas de Nicaragua” for nine years. In addition, she opened a video game parlor in her home in order to earn income to cover the necessities for her three children. With her savings, she bought this business from her brother and improved the infrastructure in order to provide better service to her customers. With her previous loan, she bought televisions so that she could handle more customers.

This current loan will be used to buy adequate tables for holding the televisions and another Nintendo system to improve conditions for her customers. Thanks to her loans, Jacqueline has been able to make improvements to her business since her salary goes to pay for food and basic expenses. Her earnings from the Nintendo games have been a great help. Jacqueline’s plans for the future are to enclose her parlor and strive each day to make her business better.
