A loan of $1,050 helped buy more vegetables wholesale to sell.

Florencia's story

Florencia belongs to the Nueva Vision de Urubamba Communal Bank, which is located in the heart of the sacred valley of the Incas. Urubamba is one hour and ten minutes from the city of Cusco.

She is a 57 year old widow, and she has five children. Four of the children are independent, and she lives with her 19 year old child. She alternates her activities between the household and her small business.

She sells vegetables. She takes beans, peas, carrots, and all types of vegetables to the Convención Quillabamba province. She has worked this way for 13 years. She buys the vegetables in the Urubamba province and takes them to Quillabamba to sell. She is requesting the loan to buy more vegetables wholesale to sell.

She is grateful for the opportunity of the loan, and she promises to make her payments on time.
