A loan helped to buy sheet sets, thermal blankets, comforters, and bedspreads, among other things.

Esperanza's story

Esperanza, despite her advanced age, is an enterprising woman who likes to work very much. She also likes to make her own income to help her husband pay rent on the house where they live. Rent is a little high because their home is in the downtown area of the city. They had to move from their old place of residence due to safety issues there.

Esperanza and her husband work very hard to cover the costs of their humble home. Her husband is a day laborer, and Esperanza sells sheets and blankets to her customers. She wants to increase her work capital. For that reason she is seeking a loan to buy sheet sets, thermal blankets, comforters, and bedspreads, among other things. This will allow her to continue supporting her family.
