Mrs. Phin Dim Village Bank Group's story

This village bank loan involves twenty-two people, all of whom live in Prachum Angk village, in Kandal province. All the group members are shown in the picture, but some of them are blocked.

Mrs. Phin D. is her village bank president; she has been selected by all the members, who will use their loans for different purposes. She is a beautician in her village, while her husband, Mr. Thea S., is a farmer who owns a small piece of land where he cultivates rice to support his family. Phin D. is a mother of four children, two of whom are seamstresses in a garment factory, while the others are attending the local public school. This family has a problem because they do not have enough beauty supplies for Phin D.’s business. Thus, she decided to ask for a loan to buy some beauty supplies.
