Mrs. Sokphy Ngong Village Bank Group's story

This village bank loan has eight people, all of whom live in Preaek Me Srok village in the Kandal province. They will use the loan for different purposes.

Mrs. Sokphy N. is the village president who has been selected by the members. She and her husband, Mr. Roeut Sok, are farmers who own a small piece of land for cultivating rice and vegetables to support their family. In order to improve crop productivity, Mrs. Sokphy N. decided to ask for a loan to buy oxen for plowing the field.

She is the mother of four children, one of whom is a laborer in Thailand, while the others are attending the local public school.
