El grupo solidario Mujeres Responsable. Tiene 2 integrantes por lo que cada una de ellas realiza diferentes actividades económicas. En el caso de Justina es madre soltera y tiene 47 años con 2 hijos menores de edad a su cargo. Su actividad económica es la venta de golosinas y refrescos. A pesar de lo difícil que es mantener el negocio es una de las mujeres más emprendedoras y dinámicas del grupo. Su otra socia Modesta tiene 44 años. Su actividad económica es venta de ropa. Ella dio inicio a su negocio con mucho sacrificio y debido a su muy buena administración ha logrado salir adelante con su negocio pues es una mujer muy responsable. Ellas se han unido con el fin de salir adelante, a pesar de que han tenidos muchos desafíos son muy luchadoras y trabajadoras. Por lo que el motivo del financiamiento es para capital de trabajo para la compra de materia prima. El sueño de las 2 socias es ayudar a sus familias y mejorar sus condiciones de vida.

Fundación Leon 2000 began operations in 1993 as the first microfinance institution to serve the western part of Nicaragua, a country which continues to be one of the poorest in the western hemisphere. Fundación Leon 2000 works to further the development of micro, small, and medium enterprises through credit services and management, applying the best credit industry practices and technical expertise. Additionally, Fundación Leon manages several business and financial education programs in the community, specifically for young entrepreneurs and at-risk youth.
