Las Violetas Group's story

The name of this group is “Violetas”. The women say this is because it is a very pretty flower and it is comprised of women. It is located in Tierra Blanca. The group is comprised of four enterprising women who have known each other for over 24 years. This is their first cycle with the Fundación Realidad.

Angélica Araceli F. Gutiérrez represents the group. She is 38, and she only finished elementary school. She has two children, a girl and a boy. She sells shoes, gifts, bags, and jewelry. She needs the loan to reinvest in bags and gifts. She says that she has a lot of customers to whom she offers an extensive inventory of products. She says that she has been doing this since she was very small. It improved her parents’ quality of life, and now it is improving the quality of life for her children and her husband.

Mónica M. Marrón also belongs the the Violetas group. She is 41, and she went to high school. She only has one daughter. Mónica sells Mary Kay brand beauty products. She will invest the loan in these products. She says that they have generated earnings, which improve day to day. Her customers are convinced that it is a good product, and this business helps her get to know more people.

Victoria F. C. sells tacos. She wants the loan to restock the raw materials to make her tacos.

Lilia Hernández Álvarez is the name of the last member. She sells brand name perfumes. She says that it is a big help because she likes having her own income and being able to give her daughter a good education. She will use the loan to reinvest in perfume.

They are all very grateful to the people at Kiva who are helping them.
