A loan of $725 helped purchase merchandise to increase his inventory.

Hector's story

Héctor is 63 years old and lives in his own home with his wife Alicia (age 52) and their daughter Catherine (age 33). His younger son Christopher (age 22) does not live with them.

Six years ago, he opened a small grocery store in his home where he sells different kinds of candy, snacks, sodas, and other basic necessities. He was encouraged by the fact that his business would not face any other competition in the area. Héctor decided to start his own business since he had trouble finding work because of problems with his hearing. He finds managing his business to be quite peaceful and also has the help of his wife and daughter. Despite his age, Héctor has many projects planned to improve the quality of life for his family.

This is his first loan with MFP. Héctor promises to complete each of his payments on time because he wants to receive subsequent loans for as long as he can. He plans to use the money he requested to buy merchandise so that he can increase his inventory and offer a greater variety of products to his customers.
