A loan of $575 helped inventory and working capital.

Karina Evelyn's story

Karina lives in Anticretico on her parents’ land located in the Quintanilla zone. She sells clothing, wallets, shoes, and other items for cash and credit. She generally sells to people at their jobs, schools, and other places. She does not have a shop nor a stall anywhere; she sells door to door. Her customers are middle class and she has good references from our other clients.

She cohabitates and has two small children for whom she works hard to get ahead. She provides the sole means of support for her children, because her partner is unemployed at the moment. She is a hard worker and will use the money from this loan to invest in merchandise and to increase her working capital. She is very grateful to Emprender and to Kiva for trusting her with this loan.
