Flor De Pascua Group's story

This group is comprised of three partners: Albertina C., who has a tortilla shop and also sells spare parts; Milva Alicia has a clothing and accessories store; and Sara has a bread shop.

Sara is 40 years old, lives in Patzun. She has 7 children of whom one is already married, 2 have graduated and 4 are studying in school. Her business is a bread shop and her children help. She sells 3 days a week on market days. She has had her business for 20 years. With the help of her husband she has been able to overcome and now has the need to acquire a loan to be able to buy raw materials. As Easter week approaches (an important festival in Guatemala) for many it is the custom to buy a lot of bread, and so her business has a high demand. Sara’s dream is to give a house to her children and to have a better life.
