A loan helped to buy more cars to help his young workers to collect paper.

Hany's story

Hany, 35, has been married for a year and has a little girl. He and his family live with his parents and his betrothed sister. His father is on a pension. Hany has a small project collecting carton and paper and then sells them to factories for recycling. He has youth that work for him and he pays them for each day they work.

Hany's project is successful and he says that it serves the environment since we don't need to cut trees because we can recycle the papers. He has asked for a loan to buy more cars to help his young workers collect the papers and to hire more youth to help them. Hany needs this loan to increase his sales and his income, both to help his father with his sister's marriage and the youth because they haven't other jobs.

This loan is special because:

It contributes to sustainable development in a community with high unemployment.
