A loan helped a member to buy wool in bulk for making blankets.

Canelas Group's story

The Communal Bank “Canelas” is part of the German Busch agency. This group consists of eight members and is led by a Board of Directors in which Sra. Martha is the president.

Martha is 40 years old, married, and has four children. She has a business of selling blankets. Her loan will be used to buy wool in bulk that she will acquire from wholesale vendors in the city of La Paz. Afterwards, she will make her products and sell them at her vending stall. By working in this manner, she will be able to generate income to support her family.

Her aspirations are to expand her business and improve her quality of life. Martha asks that the lenders continue to trust her Communal Bank group.
