A loan of $725 helped increase merchandise.

Edith's story

Edith, age 39, is a very hard-working woman. She lives with her husband and their two beloved children. Ángel is 16, and Milagros is 7.

Her experience in commerce motivated her to have her own business. So it was that ten years ago she set up a bookstore. She spends the greater part of her time on the business. She opens very early in the morning until approximately seven or eight at night. Edith likes her work a lot. It is peaceful, and it makes her feels independent. She does not have to follow a schedule or obey a boss. This makes her feel fulfilled and very productive. She takes great care in the attention to her customers. A customer who enters her establishment is treated very cordially. That is how she has gotten a good reputation in the neighborhood.

That is why in the future she plans to keep making her business grow, stock it, and convert her bookstore into the most important one in the neighborhood.

This is her fourth loan with MFP. In her group she has always been characterized as being very responsible and punctual with her payments. She will use the money she is requesting to buy a larger quantity of notebooks, pens, colored pencils, and pens, etc. The school season is approaching, and she plans to increase her sales.
