A loan helped a member to invest in her farm.

Juntos Por Leoncio Prado Group's story

Isaura, 48, has a business growing and selling sacha inchi (seeds grown from a vine that are similar to peanuts). She started this business 2 years ago. Isaura is requesting a loan to invest in her farm to pay for pruning, weeding, and treatments to fight diseases. This way she can get a better harvest and improve the quality of her sacha inchi crop.

Isaura is considered to be a tenacious woman who is responsible and punctual in her group work. She is now the leader of the "Juntos por Leonicio Prado" communal bank, which has 8 members.

Isaura's main dream is to help her children to thrive and to provide her youngest with a better education. She also wants to work with her husband to get ahead. They want to improve their farm and save a lot, so they can buy more land for agriculture.
