Narimon's story

Narimon B. is 20 years old. He is a cattleman, who raises cattle to sell. At the same time, Narimon sells dried fruits in the local market. Narimon has been working as a market vendor for 3 years. Thanks to these two businesses, Narimon is able to support his parents with their household expenses. Today, Narimon is going to increase the turnover capital for his business selling dried fruits. With this purpose in mind, he is requesting $3000 US Dollars. The loan will be spent on purchasing dried fruits and cattle for selling. This is the first loan for Narimon, however, he is sure he shall be able to pay it in time and thanks everyone who trusts him with their support.

Tajikistan is known for its rich history, which includes a key post along the Silk Road and the end of Alexander the Great's rule. These conditions have resulted in high levels of unemployment and have forced hundreds of thousands to seek work in other countries, mainly Russia. While the people of Tajikistan are working to improve its agricultural production and manufacturing sector, nearly two-thirds of the population still live in abject poverty.
