A loan of $1,200 helped stocking goods.

Rosette's story

Rosette is 27 years of age and is a business lady dealing in ladies’ jewelry, hair holders, bridal hairpieces, bangles, earrings, babies' toys, and many more items. She has been in this business for seven years.

She is a business administrator by profession but as a result of the scarcity of formal employment in the country, she resorted to self-employment. She has two dependents for whom she pays school fees. They go to secondary school, and the family is renting a two-roomed house out of Kampala.

Her business is located in the city center next to the old taxi park where the demand for her goods is quite high. She is requesting a loan of $1200 to stock goods in preparation for the Christmas season. The increase in income will help her to pay school fees and rent for her work place.
