Jose Miguel's story

Jose Miguel is 35 years old, and is married with 3 children. The oldest, Willi, is 16 years old and studies at secondary school. The younger ones, 8 and 6, study at primary school. Jose Miguel's wife Fanny works as a sales assistant in the shop Novia Linda to obtain additional earnings which permit her to support her husband with the household costs. In his family he is known as Miguel, and has worked for over 20 years as a carpenter in his own workshop located in his house, where he makes all type of furniture. He is seeking his first loan from this institution to improve his home, constructing 3 walls. He actually lives in a small wooden room, for which he is seeking Kiva's support to give his family better security and comfort. Jose's biggest dream is that his children study and be good men, and that he can grant them the standard of living that they deserve.
