A loan of $1,125 helped buying more products.

María Leticia's story

María Leticia C. is 37 years old, is married, and has two school-age daughters, one of which has hearing problems. Leticia lives with her family in the neighborhood of Villa Lobos 1, in the community of Villa Nueva in Guatemala.

Leticia's dream is to be able to build her own house, and that her daughters will have a good education. Leticia sells comforters, Mexican products, and gold. She has been in this business for approximately four years and has many clients, some of which she visits at home, though most visit her.

She will use the loan she is requesting to buy more products. Leticia says that reinvesting in her business will help her increase her profits, which will in in turn help her family because when she buys wholesale, the discount she obtains is considerable.
