A loan helped a member to buy seeds.

Silvesto is a Ugandan man, aged 54 and married with seven children. Four of his children attend school. He has done farming since 1971, growing soya beans, tomatoes, cabbages and beans. He also deals in produce and poultry as a side income. His wife also does farming.

He is requesting a loan from VisionFund Uganda to buy seeds. His profits will help him pay school fees for his children and also take care of his family's basic needs. Silvesto describes himself as honest, hard working and God-fearing however he has challenges of crop pests and diseases.

His dream is to see his children complete their education. He is grateful to Kiva for the support.
