A loan helped to buy more chicks.

Iddah's story

Iddah is 51 years old and blessed with four children. She joined Hand in Hand Eastern Africa in the year 2018 and benefited from enterprise development and financial management training.

She is a poultry farmer. She is borrowing a Kiva loan to buy chicks. She hopes that this will increase production hence increasing her income. She will therefore use the anticipated income to pay school fees and improve the living standards for her family by providing them with better healthcare for her family.

She is grateful to Kiva and their lenders for the financial support and promises to repay her loan promptly.

This loan is special because:
