Buenas Amigas Group's story

Among the groups that meet at the Cascada Community Center, the “Buenas Amigas” (Good Friends) Communal Association has renewed their loan cycles more than ten times. The only male in the group has successfully adapted to being with 13 cheerful and hardworking women.

Sra. Litce C. V. is one of the youngest members at 20 years of age. She has already participated in five loan cycles with Pro Mujer and has been able to improve her business of selling food. In the previous loan cycle, she invested the money in a public phone booth in her shop but now wants to focus more on her food business. She works Tuesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 8am until noon. What she enjoys most is talking and laughing with the other members of her group.

In this group: Litce, Rossemary, Damiana, Juana, Maria Anselma, Rene Fernando, Rosmery Juana, Lola Eymi, Veronica Fabiola, Felipa, Leticia Paulina, Benita, Laura Vanesa, Sonia Irene
