A loan helped to buy livestock for fattening and resale.

Cholpon's story

Cholpon is 54 years old and married, with three children. She has a secondary education and is enterprising, thrifty, and industrious by nature. She has been raising livestock and growing crops since 1999, and that is her family's main source of income. Thanks to Cholpon's hard work, her farm presently consists of six cows, 20 sheep, and two horses.

In order to develop her farm further, Cholpon has turned to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 150,000 som (KGS) with which she will buy livestock, her aim being to increase her income from fattening and reselling her animals. The income generated by the loan will help Cholpon expand her business and save enough to buy her son a house.
