A loan helped a member to restock materials to make scrubs.

Two Sisters Group's story

In an effort to help support her family, Talent decided to look for financial assistance from Thrive Microfinance after she heard about how Thrive had helped in improving the lives of many women. Talent is a woman aged 28 staying in Stoneridge Park with her husband and their three children. She is a homeowner with no rental income. Her husband works in a hardware store.

Talent is in tailoring, specializing in scrubs, which she supplies to hospitals. She claims she started this business four years ago after realizing that she had to do something to help her husband upgrade their family’s living standards.

In April 2019, a friend who is already a client at Thrive told her about the organization and she felt she had to join so as to meet the demand for her scrubs, which is increasing. She managed to get a loan and from that Talent restocked materials to make scrubs.
