Anita's story

Mrs. Anita belongs to the communal bank“Las Aguerridas II” in the District of Tarapoto, San Martin Province, San Martín Community. She has a common-law husband, is 33 years old, is the mother of one dependent child. She graduated from high school.

Anita has had her business for 7 years and is an efficient and capable woman She sells clothes in a well air-conditioned shop in her own house. Currently, her clients are friends, neighbors, and other inhabitants of her community. They tell us that her business is going very well.

Her sound spirit and optimism help her to grow as an independent woman and she is very proud of what she has achieved. With her first loan of 250 Nuevos Soles she launched her business selling clothing for women and men.

With this loan of S/. 1,700.00 Nuevos Soles, she will buy additional clothing inventory, such as shirts, pants, and skirts for school uniforms; athletic shorts and shirts in all sizes, models and colors; and polo shirts and dresses for adults and children.

She feels like an accomplished woman, which is why she is grateful for the opportunity the Movimiento Manuela Ramos has given her to develop herself as a woman and as an entrepreneur. She is also happy because she now has access to low-cost life insurance, which she has always wanted as it gives her and her family peace of mind in case of any situation that might occur.
